MA Program

Program Overview

The Master of Arts (MA) program in English as an International Language offers two study plans:

• Plan 1: Research/Thesis Plan
• Plan 2: Professional/Applied Plan

Qualifications

Applicants for both Plan 1 and Plan 2 must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.70 in languages, linguistics, literature, language teaching, or a related field
• Demonstrate English proficiency with one of the following minimum scores:

Required Documents

1. Completed application form with 2 attached photographs
2. Photocopy of previous degrees, certificates, or diplomas
3. Official transcripts from all universities attended
4. Photocopy of ID card or passport
5. Valid English proficiency test results (TOEFL, IELTS, or CU-TEP)
   • Test results must be issued within 2 years of the admission date

6. Three recommendation letters from individuals (not relatives) who can assess your academic/professional abilities
7. Biographical essay (approximately 1,500 words)
8. Research proposal related to English as an International Language (approximately 3,000 words)
9. Proof of application fee payment (bank transfer slip)

3. Submit the completed application form with all required documents to the EIL office
